I want to welcome each of you to the Bowling Green Schools and express our gratitude that you have chosen to entrust us with educating your children. The 2020-21 school year will begin in a manner not known to any of us as we begin remotely due to the Corona Virus. Regardless, we are committed to making a difference in the lives of our children and hope that we will soon be in a face to face environment and can return to some normalcy.
We are proud of our staff which is comprised of experienced and talented educators who will challenge students daily to become the best that they can be. Our teachers worked extremely hard over the summer to be adequately prepared to deliver instruction on line as they enter a new world of education. I am impressed and humbled to work with such a dedicated staff of professionals who put kids first.
We are proud of the opportunities that our students are afforded and we will continue to provide as many of those as we can under this new normal. We will continue to shape our curriculum to best serve every student’s particular interest. Our arts programs are some of the finest, not only in NW Ohio but throughout the State. Our band, choir, drama, orchestra, and visual arts consistently perform at high levels and set our school district apart.
While this is not the most ideal way to begin a new school year, we are thankful for the continued support and the collaboration we have had with our parents and community. We certainly understand and appreciate the sacrifices that our staff and parents are making to meet the needs of our students during this unsettling time in our history.
Being Bobcat Proud is not a cliché but a way of life. Bobcat Proud sets the standard of what we expect from our students as they represent themselves, their families, and our community. We thank you all for your continued support.
