Guidance Services @ Bowling Green Middle School Minimize

The middle school counselors coordinate and implement various activities including:

• Orientation and registration
• Standardized testing preparation
• Section 504 plans
• Career guidance
• Tutoring programs
• Off-site visitations, including Bowling Green High School and Penta Career Center

They also:

• Work closely with academic teams regarding student progress.
• Attend parent/teacher conferences.
• Acts as liaisons with community service agents.
• Meet with students new to the Bowling Green School District.

• conducting state-mandated health screenings.
• informing faculty and staff about student health issues.
• evaluating ill students' symptoms.
• consulting with parents regarding courses of action for ill students.
• updating student health records as needed.
