Welcome to the Bowling Green High School Guidance Office! Minimize

Bowling Green High School offers a professionally trained guidance staff to assist students with their personal, social, academic, and career development. The counselors are also available to work with students, parents, and teachers on shared goals. The guidance staff has access to resources and information which can assist students in many ways, so please stop in!

The following are examples of services commonly offered by the guidance staff:

• Orientation for new students
• Individual and group counseling on personal and social concerns
• Referral service to local counseling services
• Career and life planning
• Post-secondary educational planning
• Assistance with college applications, transcripts, financial aid and scholarships
• Information about personal, leadership, academic and career development opportunities
• Job search assistance
• Academic support including tutoring, study skills, test preparation, etc.


Credit Flexibility Minimize

Credit flexibility options are designed for students who demonstrate the ability, interest, and maturity to accept personal responsibility for their learning in a selected curricular area and have the opportunity to pursue it outside of Bowling Green High School with a Bowling Green Board of Education-approved program. The purpose of the credit flexibility option is to develop learners who design their own research and learning objectives in a formal plan. Get packet.
