Success to Careers
This course is designed to provide an orientation to the world of work and education. Experiences are designed to introduce students to the technical nature of today's world and the role of productive workers. Activities enable students to increase self-awareness and make wise educational and occupational decisions as they plan for careers. Work-based learning strategies appropriate for this course include job shadowing and possible field trips.
Included in the course will be: Note taking, study techniques, personal development, assessments and career development, speakers, and documentation (resume, cover letter, follow-up letter) needed for obtaining a position and/or further education.

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assessment is a psychometric questionnaire designed to measure psychological preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions. [1]:1 These preferences were extrapolated from the typological theories originated by Carl Gustav Jung, as published in his 1921 book Psychological Types (English edition, 1923).
