The Bowling Green Board of Education will be receiving sealed bids at the Operations Center, 13230 Bishop Road, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402 for the purchase of 2 (two) 78 passenger conventional school buses (model year 2019 or newer). Bids will be received until 12:00 PM, May 2, 2018.
Proposals and Specifications may be obtained or examined at the office of Toby Snow, Director of Transportation, 13230 Bishop Rd., Bowling Green, Ohio 43402, or by calling (419) 354-8509 or by clicking on this Bus Specifications link.
Said passenger school buses must meet on delivery all requirements of the State Department of Education, State of Ohio, and specifications of the Bowling Green Board of Education, as well as be able to pass the Ohio State Patrol Safety inspection. Any questions regarding the proposal or specifications may be directed to Toby Snow.
Bids submitted shall impose no liability or obligation on the Bowling Green Board of Education.
The Bowling Green Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids. In awarding the contract, the Board of Education reserves to be the sole judge of the quality of any time which is bid and the Board of Education also reserves the right to consider all elements germane in determining the qualification of the bidders and his agents or representatives. Any bid which is incomplete, conditional, obscure, or which contains irregularities of any kind may be rejected at the discretion of the Board of Education. Successful bidders will be required to submit to the Treasurer a statement relating to the delinquent personal property taxes as per Ohio Revised Code 5719.042.
A 2001 Blue Bird, transit and a 2003 Blue Bird, transit, may be traded as part of the purchase.
